Cornerstone Software LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Cobalt AMS, an automotive management platform for independent dealers, vehicle flippers, and repair shops. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and application at cobaltams.com and app.cobaltams.com (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information through our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
Business Data. You may enter vehicle inventory records, work orders, customer information, financial data, partner settlements, and other business records into the Service. This is your data — you own it.
Usage Data. We automatically collect basic information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, and IP address. This helps us improve the product.
Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

- Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
If you delete your account, we will remove your personal and business data from our active systems within 30 days. Some data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before automatic deletion.

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate Cobalt AMS:
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Vercel — Application hosting
These providers have their own privacy policies and are contractually obligated to protect your data. We do not share your business data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
6. Children's Privacy
Cobalt AMS is a business tool designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
